Please read these Terms of Service carefully before purchasing or using Prospect by Ligzer. By installing the extension or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension.
1. Who We Are
Prospect by Ligzer ("Prospect," "we," "us," or "our") is a Chrome extension developed and operated by Ligzer. For questions or support, contact us at contact@ligzer.dev.
2. What Prospect Does
Prospect by Ligzer is a Chrome browser extension that helps freelancers and agency owners find, qualify, and organize business leads. Features include importing leads from Google Places, running PageSpeed and SERP checks, deduplicating lead lists, and organizing leads into projects. All lead data is stored locally in your browser and is never transmitted to us.
3. License to Use
When you purchase Prospect by Ligzer, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the extension on up to 5 devices simultaneously, depending on your plan.
What you may do
- Install and use the extension on up to 5 of your own devices
- Use the extension for your own freelance or agency outreach work
- Export and use lead data you generate for your own business purposes
What you may not do
- Share, resell, sublicense, or transfer your license key to another person or organization
- Use the extension to build or operate a lead generation service sold to third parties
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the extension beyond what is publicly available
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with the license activation system
- Use the extension in any way that violates applicable laws or third-party terms of service, including Google's Terms of Service
Your license key is for your own use only. Sharing it with others — even colleagues or clients — is a violation of these terms and may result in your license being deactivated without a refund.
4. Plans and Payments
Available plans
Prospect by Ligzer is available on the following plans:
- Monthly — billed monthly, cancellable at any time
- Annual — billed once per year, cancellable at renewal
- Lifetime — a single one-time payment granting permanent access to the current version and all V1 updates
Payments
All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service. We do not store or process your payment details directly.
Renewals
Monthly and annual plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your Lemon Squeezy customer portal or by contacting us.
Price changes
We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect active subscriptions until the next renewal cycle, and we will notify you before any price increase takes effect.
5. Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all plans. If you are not satisfied with Prospect for any reason within 30 days of your purchase, contact us at contact@ligzer.dev and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.
Refund requests made after 30 days from the original purchase date will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy and may take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your payment method. Upon refund, your license key will be deactivated and access to the extension will be revoked.
6. License Activation and Devices
Each license key can be activated on up to 5 devices. If you need to activate on a new device, you can free up a slot using the "Deactivate this device" option in the extension's App Settings.
We reserve the right to deactivate license keys that show evidence of misuse, including sharing keys across multiple users or organizations.
7. Third-Party Services
Prospect by Ligzer integrates with third-party services to provide its features. Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and policies:
- Google Places API Terms — used for lead importing
- Google PageSpeed Insights Terms — used for website scoring
- Lemon Squeezy Terms of Service — used for payments and licensing
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or terms of these third-party services. If Google changes or restricts its APIs, certain features of Prospect may be affected without constituting a breach of these terms.
8. Updates and Future Versions
V1 updates
All license holders receive updates to the current major version (V1) at no additional cost, including bug fixes, improvements, and new features released within V1.
V2 and future major versions
Future major versions (e.g. V2) may be released as a new product with a separate subscription. Lifetime license holders will receive a discounted upgrade offer as a thank-you for purchasing early. We do not guarantee that any specific feature will be available in future versions.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Prospect by Ligzer is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of data returned by third-party services such as Google Places or PageSpeed Insights. Lead data generated by the extension is provided for informational purposes only — always verify contact details before outreach.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ligzer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Prospect by Ligzer, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of business opportunities.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the extension shall not exceed the amount you paid for your current license in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Prospect by Ligzer to:
- Conduct outreach in violation of applicable anti-spam laws, including CAN-SPAM, CASL, or GDPR
- Scrape, store, or distribute data in violation of Google's Terms of Service
- Harass, threaten, or send unsolicited bulk communications to individuals
- Engage in any activity that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful to others
We reserve the right to deactivate licenses used in violation of this section without a refund.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license at our discretion if you violate these Terms of Service. In the event of termination due to a violation, no refund will be issued. In the event of termination for any other reason, a pro-rata refund will be provided for unused time on monthly or annual plans.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund of the current billing period unless requested within the 30-day refund window.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers by email. Continued use of the extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Prospect by Ligzer shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration.
